A CFA-affiliated Japanese Bobtail Breed Club dedicated to:
 

• Promoting the health and welfare of cats - in particular,  the Shorthair Division Japanese Bobtail
• Promoting interest in, and knowledge of, the Shorthair Division Japanese Bobtail,   through educational  programs and propaganda emphasing the need to present the unique traits and gene pool of this division;

• Promoting interest and encouraging the responsible breeding andshowing of the Shorthair Division Japanese Bobtail in CFA, and acknowledging individual achievement in the same;

• Sponsoring and supporting CFA-licensed cat shows;

• Promoting friendship and common interest among the members.

Associate Memberships in the SHJBC are $15.00 per year, per Household/ Domestic; $30.00 per year, per Household/Overseas.

Associate Memberships include receipt of our quarterly newsletter, POM!, featuring photos of Shorthair Japanese Bobtails, feline health information, photos of new Grand Champions/Grand Premiers, Litter News, cartoons, and items of interest to all feline-fanatics.
